Our Leather Collection explores the natural character of full-grain leather - the outermost layer of the hide, valued for its strength, distinctive grain and ability to develop a rich patina over time.
Rather than concealing the character of the original hide, full-grain leather retains the variations in grain, texture and tone that make each piece subtly different. With use, the surface evolves further, softening and developing a character shaped by how it is carried.
The collection currently brings together two distinct expressions of full-grain leather: our soft and tactile Structured Wrinkle Leather, used as the main material across a selection of bags, and our more structured Bridle Leather, used for smaller leather goods as well as the handles and trimmings that define much of the MISMO Fabric Collection.
Both qualities are custom-developed for MISMO with an emphasis on natural character, durability and how the leather evolves over time.
